Description
The Right of Way Project Manager will perform and manage land acquisition and related services in a variety of locations in the northeast supporting electric and/or gas infrastructure upgrades. Duties may include the following:
- Strong understanding of title work, appraisals, and acquisition process.
- Experience taking a lead role in managing the following activities:
- Manage and oversee analyzing, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting land right of way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
- Oversee research and collection of real property-related documents, including land valuations.
- Manage and oversee public meetings/hearings.
- Oversee data translation from right of way documents into the stakeholder management database.
- Oversee quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from right of way field agents.
- Compile technical data to be presented to the project team.
- Manage associate permit applications with right-of-way work.
- Preparation of project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team.
- Building, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Comply with company and site safety policies.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, real-estate law or related field plus eight years of applicable experience. Right of Way experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Real Estate Salesperson License is a plus but not required (or ability to obtain).
- SR/WA designation from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) is a plus. Intermediate credentialing certifications by IRWA will be considered.
- Project experience related to transportation infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the Uniform Relocation Act
- Basic knowledge of general real estate law is preferred.
- Basic understanding of real estate title work is preferred.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task.
- Excellent ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of ArcGIS desktop environment.
- Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using databases is a plus.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Travel: 10-15% within the northeast
